Our shopping cart system makes use of HTML "Cookies".
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your computer.
When you request an item to be added to your cart, our
web site sends the information about that item
to your computer to be stored there.
These cookies allow you to leave our site before
checking out without losing the contents of your
shopping cart. When you return to our site hours, days,
or even weeks later, we can recall all the items you
had in your shopping cart!
We also store in a cookie your name and address that
you provide upon checkout. That way when you return
to buy something from us in the future, you do not have
to retype that information.
We DO NOT store your credit card number or other payment
information in cookies. When you provide that information
upon checkout, it is transmitted securely to our servers.
Cookies are not harmful. As you can see, they are
quite helpful. If your browser gives you warnings about
our site wanting to store cookies, don't be alarmed.
(If those warnings become annoying, you can turn them
off by selecting the "Preferences" or "Options" menu
item.)
